Kora Gift Sets

Happy New Year!  2015 brought a lot of unexpected changes, but I couldn’t be more grateful.  If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have saw that I was, and still am, a little under the weather.  But for me, cuddling up with a cup of tea and watching the ball drop was a happy way to start the new year.

Being that it is the first day of the new year, I thought that talking about my most favorite skincare line would be the perfect first post of 2016.  I received two Kora Organics gift sets for Christmas, all containing products that I absolutely love.  Each gift set came in a pretty, pink canvas cosmetic bag.  The first gift set pictured contains the daily hand cream and vitamin enhanced lip balm.  While the lip balm is one of my daily staples, the daily hand cream is a treat.  I am currently keeping it in my purse so that it will last a little while.  If you are looking for a lip balm that lasts all day, doesn’t dry out your lips, and adds a bit of shine, then the vitamin enhanced lip balm is what you’ve been looking for.  It contains nutrient rich ingredients like rosehip, avocado, and jojoba.  I don’t know what I would do without it!

The second gift set I received contains the essential body wash (not pictured), the enriched body lotion, and exfoliating cream.  I love, love, love all of them!  The body wash and lotion is another treat to have right now, and I love how the natural aromas create a spa like experience.  The exfoliating cream is super gentle and can be used on both the face and body.  Organically grown oat flour and bamboo gently exfoliate away dead skin cells.  It is perfect if you have sensitive skin!

In the first picture, there is an affirmation card about gratitude.  It is from Miranda Kerr’s Empower Yourself affirmation card deck, which is based from her book.  I love using affirmation cards because they act as simple reminders each day.  I’ve read both of Miranda’s books, and I also use the affirmation cards daily.  Since a new year is unfolding, gratitude is what I have been thinking about the most.  A card about gratitude seemed appropriate for the first day of the new year.  🙂

I hope 2016 is everything you can imagine.  I am so excited to learn the lessons and surprises it has in store.  Have a beautiful day!
