❤ all recent grams and pretty things
Oh, it has been so long since I’ve written a post for Graceful Glass Slipper. I love writing this blog, and I’ve missed it quite much. The truth is, there has been so much going on lately. Of course, there have been a lot of happy things unfolding, but there have been a few unexpected curve balls recently. I like to think of Graceful Glass Slipper as a little positive space in the corner of the internet, and it is a little positive space that I’ve missed. Also, some of you may have noticed that I’ve deleted a couple of posts, the reason being that I want Graceful Glass Slipper to have a consistent look and feel. 🙂 Truly, from the bottom of my heart I appreciate all of you who follow this blog. It means the world to me and makes my heart feel full! Today, I want to do a “catch-up” post and share twelve recent things from my life.
❤ 1. Twice a week, I walk forty minutes home from one of my classes. I love exploring and discovering new places (as well as finding pretty photo opportunities!).
❤ 2. Through recent events, I have learned the importance of when to stand up for yourself.
❤ 3. My mom is sending me a care package with a bunch of my cozy sweaters this week! She went through my closet back home while we face timed this past weekend, and even though I already own all of the clothes, it felt like I was going shopping.
❤ 4. I love to write.
❤ 5. Sweet potatoes really are my favorite food (talking non-dessert of course).
❤ 6. When you’re sad, one of the best things to do is be with friends.
❤ 7. In December, when I get to go home for break, my heart is going to burst into a million pieces when I see my puppies.
❤ 8. Lately, about one or twice a week I have been waking up much earlier than I need to so that I can either go do homework at the library or sit at a cafe and read. These are my favorite mornings.
❤ 9. I have a new appreciation for keeping a small baggie of quarters in my purse for parking meters and washing machines.
❤ 10. To-do-lists are a great place to turn to when things begin to seem overwhelming.
❤ 11. The weather here in Savannah is dipping into the low seventies, and even the high sixties (I was freezing this morning and I loved it!).
❤ 12. The words shared at the beginning of this post are something that I read whenever I’m going through something big or small. Just by reading them, I feel hopeful.
Thank you so much for reading today, and I hope all of you have a great week!
