Instead of making a New Years resolution this year, I have made a promise to myself to simply take care of myself inside and out. I love learning about health and wellness, but for some reason it is the first thing I push aside when I become overwhelmed, stressed, or doubtful. Today, I thought it would be fun to share with all of you my favorite health and wellness rituals to inspire a healthy and happy 2017 (and to keep myself accountable!).
❤ Writing affirmations every single day
❤ Taking really good care of my skin by using organic beauty products, eating very healthy, and drinking much water and tea
❤ Being kind to myself, and to others (This isn’t so much a ritual as it is a way to live everyday, but either way, I feel much better when I am acting out of kindness!)
❤ Eating slowly, with mindfulness and gratitude
❤ Taking a few minutes out of each day to read, whether it be a book, magazine, or blog post (Reading has always been a way I have dealt with stress.)
❤ Gratitude for everything (For me, being grateful makes all the difference.)
This list is short and sweet, but I wanted to keep it simple. I may even do posts in the future that add to it, what do you all think? I would love to hear in the comment section what some of the things are that make you feel healthy, inside and out.
