Organic Beauty On A Budget: The Honest Co. healing balm

Instead of doing one long post incorporating all of my favorite organic, budget friendly products, tips, and tricks; I decided to make it a series here on GGS to make it much less overwhelming.  For me, it was so much easier to make the transition from conventional beauty products to certified organic beauty products by changing my regimen just a little at a time.

Since I choose to splurge on my Kora Organics Three Step System, I have to save in other areas.  So, you can only imagine how excited I was when I found this organic healing balm by The Honest Co.  It reminds me of the Josie Maran Argan Balm, except it is less than half the price.  If your hands tend to be on the drier side, having a balm instead of a lotion can come in handy (no pun intended).  This Honest Company product contains organic sunflower, olive, coconut, and tamanu oils; as well as chamomile and calendula (hello, sensitive skin!).  In addition to that, the balm is free of petroleum, mineral oil, lanolin, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, and dyes.

While I mainly use this product on my hands, I sometimes use it on my feet after taking a shower and before putting on a cozy pair of socks, or on any really dry area of skin on my body.  The Honest Co. products can be found in the baby section at Target, or online.  You can purchase the organic healing balm here.

Thanks so much for reading, and I would love to hear about some of your favorite organic, budget friendly products in the comment section!

Much love,

Carly xx
