Present + Grateful

Hi beauties!  I stumbled upon these quotes on one of my favorite blogs, Barefoot Blonde.  I have read Amber’s blog for years, and continually read it because in a sea of bloggers, she is just so genuine.  Her family is adorable too, and I love how down to earth they are, beautiful inside and out.  She shared several quotes recently, and here are two of my favorite that I want to pass along:

I think these are both spot on with the start of the new year.  We tend to want to change so many things about our lives, but so much more can be gained when we are in the present and focusing on all that we have to be grateful for.

And talking about being grateful….I am so excited to spend the rest of the year with my new roommates!  Towards the end of last quarter, I decided to move out of the dorms.  Luckily, one of my best friends (who was actually my roommate last year haha) had a room in her apartment that was going to be open starting the end of November, and I was able to sublet it for the rest of the year!

Time to read and get some sleep….tomorrow is my usual winter break routine, work and Pure Barre!  As always, thank you all so much for reading.  It feels a little different blogging right now, more enjoyable in the way that I’ve taken the pressure off of myself to plan out a post before I sit down to write.  Instead of feeling like I have all these boxes to check off to create a “proper” post, I just feel like I am sitting down and writing about what is inspiring me.  It is calming, if that makes any sense?  Okay, I am starting to babble.  Now I’m really signing off!

Much love,

Carly xx
