Hi beauties! Today I want to share THIS article I read on vogue.com last week about Selena Gomez’s collaboration with Coach. First, I just want to say how much I love everything that she has been doing lately. Her song Fetish is one of my favorite songs this Summer, and while this isn’t totally recent, I really enjoyed watching season one of Thirteen Reasons Why (I was already a huge fan of the book and I think they did an amazing job bringing the heart of the story to life). Her emphasis on mental health through her platform to reach millions of people is so admirable. It is even evident in her collaboration with Coach, with the words Love yourself first printed on the bags.
I would love to hear in the comment section what you think about the collaboration! I am going to settle in now and watch If I Stay before going to bed. Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Sunday beauties! One thing I am becoming more and more sure of is quality vs. quantity, especially after I have been noticing that a few pieces of mine are falling apart! With that being said, I am saving my pennies to invest in For Love & Lemons. I have never said this before about a label, but I would wear every single piece they have ever made. I love soft prints and lace, and For Love & Lemons creates the most beautiful silhouettes out of them. What I love most about their clothes is how the designs are ultra feminine, sexy, and can go from day to night. Versatility and quality are the two things I look for the most in a brand. I saw on Instagram this morning that they are getting ready to release their Fall campaign and I cannot wait to see it. Also, if you are going to shop directly from their website be sure to sign up for UNiDAYS so that you can receive 15% off!
I am constantly keeping an eye out for their pieces to go on sale. It is that time of year where I am purchasing new bras, and I happened to find a bralette of theirs for $40! Yay!! I am sharing more on the clothes side of For Love & Lemons today, but they are just as known for there skivvies as they are for their dresses.
I would love to know what your favorite brand is in the comment section! As always, thank you so much for reading.
“Keep your face towards the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you.” – Walt Whitman
I love this quote. It reminds me that beauty is internal as well as effortless. Effortless in the way that it only takes kindness and positive thoughts to radiate beauty all around you. I believe that nature holds many life lessons … lessons of patience, overcoming obstacles, being loving despite opposition.
To me, looking up towards the sunshine is like keeping your head up when faced with negative thoughts. It is in those times that I say to myself the positive affirmations I have learned. It instantly makes me feel happier and more energetic.
I cannot express enough how much positive affirmations have helped me. Please comment below if you would like me to do a more in depth post on them! You can also purchase Treasure Yourself by Miranda Kerr, which is where I learned how to incorporate positive affirmations into my every day life.
P.S. All of my outfit details are below 🙂

I was going through my pictures yesterday, and I came across these blog post photos that I had completely forgotten about! These pictures were meant to be one of my earlier blog posts, and even though my hair is now at least an inch longer, I decided that I would use them anyway because the technique I use to curl my hair is exactly the same! Honestly, I haven’t made the effort all Summer to curl my hair; but yesterday I decided to do it and it made me remember how good it feels to do so. Now, I am going to try and do it a few times a week because I feel so much more put together.
Instead of using a curling iron, I almost always use a flat iron to curl my hair. I find that the curls last longer, and I get it done much quicker. I’m also much less likely to burn my fingers! It sounds a little unconventional to use a flat iron, but it has always worked for me. I love having my hair curled because it makes so many other hairstyles look put together and pretty. I don’t like to spend a lot of time on my hair in the morning, so second day curls are a life saver.
As for products, I have a few tried and true essentials. I will do a more in depth post of them, but for now I thought I would reveal my favorite hair care brands: Alterna, Aveda, and Josie Maran.
Do you have any hairstyling tips?
